Don Brown

"There are two things that I like to do when I travel, walk and eat."

Don has worked as an attorney, owned an IT consulting firm, published two photography books, and has worked as a professional cook, waiter and bartender. However, if he could name what he wanted to do for the rest of his life his answer would be simple, "I want to travel, walk, eat, and learn."

His professional life was set off on a new tangent after taking time to walk from Paris to the west coast of Spain. It was during this trip that he realized that food and how it is eaten defines and explains a culture. After long conversations with his brother about their travel experiences they decided to create a tour that shared the differernt food and cultures of Hawaii with people visiting the Islands.

"Chinatown...no matter how many times I come here I can still find something new to eat, I just wonder why it took me so long to rediscover it."

Steve is a trained business professional who has also spent a lot of time working in the front and back of the house at various restaurants.

He is an energetic domestic traveler who once set off on the ambitious quest to travel the western states looking for the best Mexican food. It turned out that the best food was right in his own backyard. But as he is fond of saying, "I didn't realize how good it was until I tried all the other variations of my favorites."
